Our Early Intervention Social Worker, provides support for those families who have more complex and enduring issues, that require a more specialist child and parent centred approach to addressing their family functioning and capacity issues.

The Early Intervention Family Social Worker, provides support to families on a consensual basis; to address the social-emotional-environmental issues and behaviours affecting their lives and impacting on their achievements and outcomes.

Assessments are undertaken to identify needs and opportunities to provide timely interventions to boost protective factors and build resilience within the family for sustained improvement and change. A Multi-Agency Approach is adopted to include attendance and /or coordination of TAC /Professionals Meetings, CIN Meeting.

Strong links are in place with the Family Operations Hub, Family Solutions and Statutory Assessment Teams to consult, step up cases and seek advice.

In addition our Social Worker provides ongoing Consultation support for our member Schools and Head Teachers to provide advice, observations and recommendations for children and families.
