Safeguarding

Mid Tendring Education Partnership fully recognises its responsibility for protecting and safeguarding the welfare of children and adults at risk. We acknowledge our responsibility to take all reasonable steps to promote safe practice and to protect people from harm, abuse or exploitation

Mid Tendring Education Partnership has a responsibility of care towards children and vulnerable adults. Having safeguards in place within an organisation not only protects and promotes the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, but also enhances the confidence of staff, trustees, volunteers, managers, parents/carers and the general public. Protecting children from abuse and neglect, preventing impairment of health and development, and ensuring they grow up in circumstances consistent with the   provision of safe and effective care enables children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully.
